How Pricing Ledger prices a listing
Pricing Ledger stores your costs and channel fees, then recommends a list price that still hits your target markup after those fees. Signup is free.
Create a store
A store is the shop. It holds channels, operating costs, and listings. Add Ring or Custom from Product Calculator Presets, then fill markup and CAD rates on My Product Calculator. A jewelry shop template starts with Ring already added; a custom template starts with Custom. Use a separate store when the shop itself is different, not when you only need another product calculator.
Enter costs and channel fees
On a listing, enter materials, labor, shipping, and any other cost lines. Each selling channel has its own fee lines. The example Etsy ads / search channel and the Etsy organic channel are there so you can edit them, not so you have to keep 20% and 8%. Your own shop can sit on a third channel with a smaller fee.
The quote uses the same formula as the public calculator: list price is set so net after the channel fee is your target markup on landed cost. Nothing on the marketing homepage is saved. A store listing is.
Read the quote
The quote shows landed cost, the recommended list price, the fee at that price, the net, and the margin on the price. On a phone the quote sits above the form. On a desktop it stays in the column beside the form. Change a cost or a fee and the list price moves. The markup you asked for does not.
The matrix is the place to scan many listings across channels. A single listing is the place to change one product and read one quote.
What you get with an account
Signup is free. After you sign in you can open My Product Calculator, set markup, CAD metal and diamond rates, and channel fees, add listings, and come back to the same quote. Manufacturing is CAD (then FX to INR); the listing is CAD.
